We nominated the lovely Irene (our Treasurer) to receive a well deserved ‘Volunteer Award’ in recognition of her outstanding work with our charity. 
Kirstin (our Chair) said: “Irene works tirelessly to support the work of The School Bank West Lothian in addition to working full time as an accountant. She plays an essential role in managing the charity’s finances and has meticulous attention to detail, managing all the charity accounts and financial systems, such as payroll and our banking system. We are very much dependent on Irene’s high-level skill set and we greatly appreciate her time, energy and commitment to the charity board. She is a real asset to our work and thoroughly deserves this award.”
The Volunteer Awards were established by The Centre Livingston, Livingston with the aim of paying tribute to people who have gone the extra mile in the community and reward them with a gift card.
