Have you heard about our “Fill-A-Bag” initiative? It offers a new way for you, your friends, family, coworkers, or employer to contribute to our School Uniform Donation Appeal.
For around £20, you can Fill-A-Bag with essential items to ensure our packs contain crucial supplies like socks, tights, a pencil case, stationery, and a water bottle. Once you’ve packed your bag (using a school bag or drawstring gym bag, for example), simply drop it off at one of our many red drop-off points located throughout West Lothian. These points are conveniently situated in various supermarkets and community establishments. https://schoolbank-westlothian.org#positivechildhood
Optional extras if you want, but there is absolutely no pressure to include any of these items:
– Men’s boxer shorts for teenage boys (no y-fronts)
– Women’s briefs for teenage girls (no granny pants or g-strings)
– Hygiene products such as: Roll on deodorant, Bars of soap, Shampoo bar, Hair gel,
Toothpaste and toothbrush, Hair accessories such bobbles (suitable for early primary school age).
Young people value being the same as their peers, which positively impacts their mental health and overall well-being. Simple items like a new school bag or pencil case can play a significant role in fostering this sense of belonging.
