Today Alison Kane (Treasurer of the Livingston South Community Church) presented us with a cheque for £3,000.
Alison said “the Livingston South Community Church know how important the work The School Bank West Lothian does to help local children and their families in the community who may be struggling. Our donation at this time will help ensure as many children return to school in August with the right uniform.”
Our Project Manager, Collette Moran, said “Alison, the Board and the members of The Livingston South Community Church have continued to support our work and we truly appreciate their kindness and generosity. Being a small, local charity, it means a lot to us and it makes a real and tangible difference to the children receiving help from our service. Every child wants to feel included and valued by their family as well as their community and most important able to focus on their education – the Livingston South Community Church is helping make this happen. We can not thank you all enough.”
