Drum roll please… the transformation at Armadale Academy is complete!
Uniforms = confidence. 
We’ve seen firsthand how access to proper school clothing boosts self-esteem, improves attendance and helps young people fully engage in the classroom.
Karen (Advanced Pupil Support Worker) said: “The Dale Drop In Shop has made a real difference helping pupils feel confident, included and ready to learn. The uniform hub offers families a dignified, non-judgmental space to access what they need, promoting inclusion and equality.”
Thanks to funding from Climate Action West Lothian and support of The School Bank West Lothian, Armadale Academy now has an enhanced uniform hub focused on:
Meeting need quickly and with dignity
Easing financial pressure on families
Reusing and recycling to cut down on clothing waste
Encouraging environmental responsibility among pupils
Talk about a win for young people, families and the planet!
