April saw us turning 9 at The School Bank West Lothian—and what an incredible journey it’s been! Here’s a look at what we’ve achieved together over the years:
Provided 10,000 referral packs to young people across West Lothian—helping them feel confident, included, and ready to thrive.
Diverted 7.5 tonnes of clothing from landfill, reducing waste and shrinking our carbon footprint.
Logged nearly 4,000 volunteer hours—a testament to the incredible dedication of our community.
Made a lasting impact on young lives—boosting school attendance, reducing bullying, and supporting mental health through inclusion.
Launched preschool clothing packs in 2022, helping families supported by Women’s Aid, Circle and Home Start access early education without barriers.
Kitted out 4 in-school uniform hubs, making essential items available on-site and supporting circular fashion.
Equipped almost 300 children for school camps this year, ensuring they don’t miss out on this key milestone, giving them the confidence, experiences, and skills that will last a lifetime.
Partnered with over 80 schools and many referrers to make sure those who need us can easily access our support.
Built an incredible team of staff and trustees who are passionate about continuing this mission for years to come.
