Last week saw the children of West Lothian return to school and we issued 522 uniform packs to children from families experiencing financial hardship. We couldn’t have done this without the generosity and kindness of every single person and organisation who supported us over the summer period, including:
356 sponsors who donated a uniform pack for a child so they could return to school return for their new school year. Each uniform pack was put together with a great deal of thought and we appreciate the time and effort taken as well as your generosity.
Everyone who donated brand new uniform, jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles, school bags, PE kit, footwear, stationery etc. These donations are equally important and allow us to provide the extra packs needed, particular at the later end of the summer holidays, when we need to have stock here to provide uniform packs at very short notice.
All monetary donations which allow us to buy the stock we need, again so important.
Organisations and funders who held events, donated stock or made a donation to support our campaign. A-maz-ing!
Everyone who donated excellent quality second-hand donations. We sort these and top up our uniform packs with the excellent quality items that look like new.
Those who like and share our FB posts as well as talk to their friends and families about how they can get involved and help support this campaign.
All those who help by having one of our red collection bins in the community. Collette, Teresa and Courtney in the office and our volunteers, including the Board of Trustees, who all work tirelessly behind the scenes.
A big THANK YOU to you all, we couldn’t do it with each and every one of you!
