Young people who “don’t have” can see and feel they are different from their peers, having a negative impact on their mental health and education. A referrer told us:
“A child had worn out and grown out of their warm coat and boots and The School Bank supplied them in the nick of time. The recent cold snap really showed those who have and those who haven’t. Those who don’t have come to school with inadequate jackets and shoes. Thanks to you this child was as snug as a bug in a rug, just like all those kids who have!”
