Years of Kindness, Countless Acts of Support
Behind every clothing pack prepared, donation sorted and collection point maintained are volunteers whose dedication helps us make a difference to local children and families every day.
Today, we’re recognising a few special volunteering milestones reached during June and July 2026. Thank you for the time, commitment and care you’ve shared with The School Bank West Lothian.
Mary N – 9 years
For almost a decade, Mary has been part of our journey. As one of our original volunteers, she’s witnessed the charity grow from its early days into the organisation it is today. A valued member of our Tuesday Operations Team, Mary also uses her sewing skills to repair and refresh items, helping ensure donations can be enjoyed by another child. Thank you, Mary, for nine years of dedication and support.
Susan – 4 years
Susan is a valued member of our Thursday Operations Team and plays an important role in collecting donations from one of our Bathgate community collection points. Your continued support helps keep essential items flowing to the families who need them most. Thank you for four fantastic years.
Julia – 4 years
As part of our Thursday Operations Team, Julia contributes her time and energy behind the scenes to help keep everything running smoothly. We’re so grateful for your commitment and the difference you’ve made over the past four years.
Anne McD – 7 years
Anne has spent seven years supporting our work and looking after two community collection points in Armadale. Her reliability and long-standing commitment have helped ensure local families continue to receive the support they need. Thank you, Anne, for everything you do.
Every volunteer’s journey is different, but each one helps strengthen our community. Whether you’ve been with us for one year or nine, your generosity of time makes our work possible. Thank you for standing alongside us and helping children across West Lothian feel confident, included and ready to thrive.
