Our volunteers are at the heart of The School Bank West Lothian. Today, we’re celebrating some fantastic volunteer milestones from May 2026 and recognising the time, dedication and care these incredible individuals have given to supporting local children and families.
Alison – 2 years
Alison began by looking after one of our community collection points in Linlithgow, then a year ago joined our Board of Trustees. This year, she also took on the challenge of the Glasgow Kiltwalk, walking 14 miles and raising an incredible amount to support our work. Thank you for your incredible commitment.
Anne G – 1 year
Anne collects from our community collection point in Whitburn. We’re so grateful for the time you give to support us.
Sarah – 4 years
A dedicated member of our Board of Trustees for four years, Sarah now serves as Board Secretary. Her guidance, support and commitment help strengthen our organisation behind the scenes. Thank you for everything you have contributed over the years.
Lauren – 4 years
Lauren has brought invaluable insight to our Board of Trustees. Having previously served as Secretary, she continues to play an important role in helping shape and support our charity’s work. Thank you for sharing your time, experience and passion with us.
Wendy – 5 years
Wendy’s enthusiasm and willingness to help wherever needed has made a lasting impact. Alongside her role as a Trustee, she looks after one of our community collection points and supports collections and deliveries to partner organisations. Thank you, Wendy, for your can-do attitude.
Linda – 7 years
A remarkable seven-year milestone! Linda supports two community collection points in Broxburn and helps with deliveries to partner organisations. Thank you for your long-standing commitment.
To each and every volunteer, whether you’re celebrating 1 year or 7, thank you for being apart of The School Bank West Lothian.
