We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have Fritzi volunteer with us over the past year as part of her medical school programme, which included community volunteering.

As a local mum, Fritzi felt a genuine connection to our mission and the families we support. During her time with us, she saw first-hand the work of The School Bank goes far beyond providing school uniform: such as our camp packs which help ensure children can take part in the experiences that matter for their confidence, development and well-being.

“What truly stood out was Fritzi’s kindness, compassion and deep understanding of the role community support plays in people’s lives. At the end of her placement, she presented to her fellow medical students about our work: helping to highlight the powerful link between practical support and health and well-being in local families. Her warmth and insight made a lasting impression on all of us” shared Roz, our Community Engagement and Volunteer Lead.

We’ve absolutely loved having Fritzi as part of the team and are so grateful for the time, energy and kindness she brought. We wish her every success in her future career as a GP – we know she’ll make a huge difference to so many lives. 💙
