Supporting young people to grow, learn and give back ![]()
We’re so proud to celebrate Nicole, who recently completed her university work experience placement with us – dedicating 30 hours supporting our team and the young people who benefit from our service.
During her placement Nicole:
Created uniform and camp packs for young people who need them most
Supported the development of social media content to help us share our story
Celebrated our amazing volunteers at our annual celebration
Sorted and prepared second-hand items for redistribution
Developed a new feedback form to help us better hear the views of young people and parents/carers who benefit from our packs
Experienced our outreach work first-hand, visiting schools and seeing how we transform unused spaces into uniform hubs where young people can access clothing with dignity.
Hereβs what Nicole said about her time with us:
βHaving the opportunity to do my work placement with the School Bank has been a very rewarding experience. Having the opportunity to see their outreach programme was very enriching as it showed how empty rooms in schools are being utilised to create safe spaces for children to take what clothes they need when they need them.β

Thank you, Nicole, for all your hard work, creativity and support throughout your placement – we wish you every success for the future! ![]()
