As part of #SelfEvaluationWeek, we’re reflecting on how small, targeted support can make a life-changing difference for a child.
Through a small funded project, we are helping children facing extreme hardship start nursery with the essentials they need: including brand-new clothing, a warm jacket and wellies.
For some families, the condition of a child’s clothing can bring feelings of worry that can mean children miss out on nursery altogether and with it, the vital early learning, routine and social connections that help them thrive.
This project exists to gently remove that barrier. To ensure that every child can walk into nursery feeling warm, comfortable and ready to learn.
