A huge shout-out to the incredible P6 class at Low Port Primary, Linlithgow and their teacher Miss Harrison for stepping up in a big way. ![]()
During Challenge Poverty Week the class learned that 1 in 4 children in West Lothian are living in poverty and they wanted to take action. From collecting donations of school uniforms and PE kits to raising an incredible ยฃ206.87 by selling hand made crafts at their Christmas Fayre – their efforts are already improving lives.
The class proudly presented their donations and cheque to Mrs Reynolds (a dedicated volunteer at The School Bank and proud parent at the school) and received a well deserved certificate of appreciation – now displayed in their classroom. ![]()
Even better, theyโre not stopping there – theyโll continue collecting donations until the end of June! This is what community spirit looks like – young people leading the way and inspiring real change.
