Earlier this month some of our amazing volunteers came together for a celebration.
We shared a lovely morning over coffee and cake, getting to know each other better – including who we’d invite to dinner (shout out to Billy Connolly, Chris Hoy and Khloé Kardashian who made the guest list! 
). We also discovered some hidden talents… one volunteer has abseiled off a building, while another admits handstands are definitely not their thing!
There were some great activities too, from costing a school uniform to thinking about the contents of pencil cases – highlighting the surprising cost of uniform and why stationery needs to vary dependent on the age of a young person.
Collette shared inspiring photos of our newly installed hubs and a beautiful poem dedicated to our volunteers. Roz then rounded off the event by presenting Hana with her 50 hours award certificate, along with a little thank-you gift for everyone—because our volunteers are simply Tea-riffic!
In the last year, our volunteers have gifted nearly 800 hours of their time. Thanks-A-Latte for all you do!
