A Fresh Start: Transforming the Uniform Hub at St Nicholas
At the end of last year, we supported St Nicholas Primary School in creating their very own uniform hub. With brand-new clothes rails and storage boxes in place, we transformed the space into a well-organised, welcoming hub. Every uniform item was carefully checked, neatly hung and sorted by size — making it simple for families and staff to quickly find exactly what they need.
The refreshed hub now provides a practical and accessible resource for the entire school community. From everyday uniform to warm coats, essential items are readily available. The hub also plays an important role in encouraging recycling — giving good-quality uniform a second life and creating a simple, supportive way for families to help one another.
By gifting the time of one of our team (on this occasion, the lovely Janine) to set up and organise the hub, we’ve helped ease the pressure on school staff — who were already managing the space alongside their many other responsibilities.
It’s a privilege to be part of a project that makes a meaningful difference — supporting families and strengthening the wider school community.
