This week, the Armadale Academy community rallied together for our SOCKtober Challenge as part of Challenge Poverty Week — and what a response! 💙

Thanks to the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of pupils, families and staff, over 100 pairs of socks were collected — a small item that will bring warmth, comfort and care to those who need it most.

What really made this campaign shine was the amazing community spirit on display. Everyone got behind the cause, showing what’s possible when a school community comes together with kindness and purpose. 🌟

A huge thank-you also goes to Dianne (Campaign Development Officer, WLC – Child Poverty/Schools) and Karen (Advanced Pupil Support Worker) for their collaboration and dedication — teamwork like this makes all the difference.

💛 Together, we’re tackling child poverty and supporting our community — one act of kindness (and one pair of socks!) at a time. 🧦
