Winter Clothing Appeal
Help children in West Lothian stay warm this winter and succeed in school! A warm jacket lets children focus on learning instead of being distracted by cold, damp clothes. For these kids, it’s a chance to thrive — and you can make that difference.
Over the next 3 months, we expect 300+ requests for winter jackets (ranging from 4-18 years old). Here’s how you can help:
Become a sponsor: Purchase a brand-new jacket for a specific child. We’ll contact you when a referral comes in, it’s up to you to buy the jacket and get it to us. Sign up here: https://bit.ly/4nqSWuu
Buy a jacket: If sponsorship isn’t for you, simply buy a warm jacket (4-12 years old as these are most in demand) and donate it. These jackets will be issued as referrals come in.
Make a monetary donation: If time is short, donate online and we’ll buy a winter jacket on your behalf. We estimate each jacket costs around £25, but every single contribution, no matter the size, is appreciated. Donate here: https://rb.gy/mfj4tc
Donate winter essentials: Along with jackets, we frequently receive requests for brand-new thick/cosy socks, tights, hoodies, wellies, gloves and hats. 
Donate gently used jackets or wellies: If your child has outgrown their winter gear, we can re-use it.
